I'm a hairstylist- been in the business a long time and I LOVE the creativity of my work.
One afternoon, I was giving myself a little pedicure at home. I held my book light to my toes with one hand as I attempted to polish them. My ceiling fan light just wasn't sufficient and shadows were an issue. It wasn't going so well. I botched up my polish job once again, and frustrated I removed the just applied color, grumbling about the time I wasted. I was trying my best! What the heck?! Grrrrrrrrrrrr.....
In the evening, I made another go of it. It was summertime and I wanted my toes to sport some color. I got my supplies all together once again (book light included), but THIS time I had a new idea. What difference would my magnifying glass make?
Well, let me say - the book light and magnifying glass made ALL the difference! I was astounded at what I'd been missing. I'll leave those details out. The problem now was that it was really difficult to hold these in one hand and not spill the polish bottle, while working with the opposite hand.
I set right out to buy what I now envisioned for my tool I NEEDED. After much searching - much, much searching - I was surprised to discover it didn't exist. Three years later, this hairstylist has brought this idea all the way to a patent pending useful tool available for purchase.
Who woulda thunkit? Thanks for letting me share my abbreviated story!
